Together with the German ski resort Fichtelberg it forms the InterSkiregion Fichtelberg-Kl\u00ednovec. When you buy a multi-day ski pass you can automatically use up to 47 km of perfectly groomed slopes. In addition, transport between the ski areas is free. Take advantage of the opportunity to ski literally without borders!<\/p>\n<p>But let&#8217;s go back to the Czech side. Already in the interwar period, the peak was popular with Czech and German ski jumpers who trained and competed on the natural ski jumps. A few years later, a part of the forest was cleared and the first ski slopes were built on the slope, namely D\u00e1msk\u00e1 and U Zabit\u00fdho. Several legends are connected with the name. One says that one of the competitors was fatally injured on the track. Another says that a man was found on the spot, killed by a violent death. Either way, it is the steepest and hardest slope in the Kl\u00ednovec Ore Mountains. So head here when you&#8217;re really confident in your skis.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1968, the resort has been growing at lightning speed, and today you can ski a total of 31.5 km of slopes on Kl\u00ednovec. There are 5 lifts, 11 ski lifts and 5 ski strips (children&#8217;s parks). The lifts are open every day from 9 am to 4 pm and in the case of night skiing until 9 pm. will also have fun at Neklid. It is a relatively young part of the Kl\u00ednovec ski resort. Freestyle is truly blessed here, because you will find one of the oldest snow parks in the Czech Republic. Fans of classic downhill skiing will also find it to their liking. There are ten ski slopes of all difficulty levels in the area with a total length of over 6 kilometres. A modern cable car, which can handle almost 2,000 people per hour, four anchors and two pom poms will take you to them. It runs every day from 9am to 4pm.<\/p>\n<p>You should know that the local conditions are very favourable for snowkiting. With its 1,028 metres above sea level, Bo\u017e\u00ed Dar is the highest town in Central Europe. This means not only long winters and lots of snow, but also strong winds, which is the alpha and omega of snowkiting. There are also a huge number of cross-country skiing trails in the area. Not far from Neklid you can even find the start of the famous Erzgebirge Highway.
