The spa season is kicking off in style here, so be there.<\/p>\n<p>The streets will come alive with a <strong>parade in historical costumes<\/strong> that will transport you to a time when nobility and artists from all over Europe flocked to the town. At the springs, experience the traditional <strong>consecration of the mineral waters<\/strong>, whose taste and effect have been discovered here for centuries. And as you wander among the stalls of the craft fair, you may discover a treasure that will remind you of the Marianas for a long time to come.<\/p>\n<p>At every corner you&#8217;ll hear music &#8211; classical and folk, as well as modern tunes performed by <strong>Lucie B\u00edl\u00e1<\/strong> or <strong>James Cole<\/strong>, who will perform on site. Children&#8217;s visitors will be delighted by <strong>the programme at Caroline&#8217;s Spring<\/strong>, the screening of Pat and Mat films or the entertaining Pokelandia with Jan Solfronk, also known from the TV show Bachelor, at the Chopin House. And in the evening? That belongs to <strong>the Singing Fountain<\/strong>, which after renovation once again enchants its audience with a play of lights and melodies. Every odd hour, from seven in the morning to seven in the evening, the tones of famous songs are heard. In the evening, it also adds light projection and coloured lighting that transforms the area in front of the colonnade into a magical theatre.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine a peaceful evening. You are sitting on a bench in the open air, the air is full of moisture and the scent of mineral springs. And in front of you, the water dances to the rhythm of <strong>familiar and new melodies<\/strong>. The tones of <em>Nothing Else Matters<\/em> or the <em>Titanic<\/em> song will engulf you so that you forget where you are and maybe even that someone is around. It is an experience that brings you back to the present. You slow down, quiet down, let everything else fade away. And maybe it&#8217;s at that moment that you realize how little is sometimes enough for happiness. Equally iconic is <strong>the Main Spa Colonnade<\/strong>, often called <strong>the Maxim Gorky Colonnade<\/strong>. It is one of the most beautiful monuments of the Czech spa industry and one of the few to survive in all its historical glory. Its vaulted space naturally draws you in &#8211; and maybe you&#8217;ll sit there for a coffee and not want to leave.<\/p>\n<p>You can also visit the new <strong>MARIENBAD GALLERY<\/strong>, a brand new space for modern art that will open on 9 May 2025 right on the colonnade. The gallery will offer three exhibitions a year and present the work of important Czech and international artists. The first exhibition will be V\u00e1clav Malina&#8217;s collection Landscapes <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2022<\/span><\/i> Landschaften, which will take you on a journey full of colour, emotion and quiet inner movement.
