Kynžvart is a château full of stories, whose collection includes the alleged mace of Jan Žižka.
It is located on the edge of Slavkov Forest, surrounded by a château park filled with ornamental trees, gazebos and sculptures set among ponds and streams. In this former residence of Chancellor Metternich, you will find, among other things, a château museum with historic coins, natural and technical curiosities, exotic weapons, an ancient daguerreotype inscribed on the UNESCO list, and an extensive library with 24,000 volumes.
