This sport definitely has a tradition and its followers in the region.

Resort Karlovy Vary

It is this golf club that can boast the title of the oldest golf club in the country, as it was founded in 1904. The original course was located on the banks of the Teplá River, but nowadays you can find it on the Karlovy Vary – Olšová vrata course from 1932. The setting of this 18-hole course is truly attractive, as it is hilly in nature and lies both in meadows and among forests. Of course there are perfect facilities, including above-standard service, for example in the form of high gastronomy. This is the responsibility of none other than the kitchen of the legendary Grandhotel Pupp. Thanks to all these characteristics, it is probably no surprise that the course has hosted major golf tournaments several times in the past. You can play here from September to October.

Royal Golf Club v Mariánských Lázních

The resort in Karlovy Vary is the oldest club, the Royal Golf Club in Mariánské Lázně is the oldest golf course built in our territory! Moreover, it was inaugurated by none other than King Edward VII of England, who cut the inaugural ribbon here in 1905 and became the first founding member of the club. The “Royal” in its name is therefore not just a whim of the owners, it is a prestigious title bestowed by Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain herself. The terrain of this course is mostly flat but requires technical skill. It is an 18-hole course that can be played from May to October without the need for a green card.

Golf & Spa Resort Cihelny

This smaller 18-hole course in the valley of the Teplá River is located 5 km outside Karlovy Vary. It is rugged in nature and its terrain is surrounded by several water bodies, which, along with other natural and model traps, make the game perhaps easier at first glance. The Honey Course pitch & putt, putting green, indoor driving range – all part of this resort where you can play from April to October. The 9-hole Honey Course is open to the general public.
