Every region has its traditional products. However, not every region can boast so many products that have made the Czech Republic famous around the world. Products made predominantly from local resources, using original recipes and technologies, are the living heritage of the Karlovy Vary Region. In addition to the renowned herbal liqueur Becherovka, the well-known Mattoni and Korunní mineral waters, and the sweet treat of spa wafers, this region offers much more. From the world-famous Moser glass brand and porcelain manufactories, through renowned musical instrument makers, to fossilised souvenirs, spa cups, regional foods and traditional recipes. In the past, the Karlovy Vary Region was renowned for producing gloves, bobbin lace and wooden candlesticks.
