The Neo-Gothic Horní Hrad Castle, also known as Hauenštejn, has stood on a rock near Stráž nad Ohří since the 13th century and is currently being reconstructed.

Visitors can currently climb the castle tower, visit the château chapel and adjacent arboretum, and view a chamber with Neo-Gothic furnishings. The Gothic cellars and the knights’ hall with a carved wooden ceiling are also open to visitors. Below the castle stretches a park with a relaxation gazebo. You should also not miss the arboretum, with its many unique plants and trees.
