The Anglican neo-Gothic Church of St Luke on Castle Hill was built with financial support from English spa guests between 1876 and 1877 under the direction of Karlovy Vary builder Josef Slowak.

This exotic-looking structure, with exposed masonry in the spirit of English Romantic neo-Gothic, stands on the ground plan of a Latin cross with massive buttresses. The windows are decorated with original stained glass, and a period silent film is shown inside, portraying the atmosphere of Karlovy Vary at the turn of the century.
