The Gothic Church of St George is the most valuable monument in Horní Slavkov.

This fortress-like building originally had three towers with reinforced masonry and served as the town’s fortifications during times of conflict. It was later even fitted with gun ports. The interior of this single-nave structure preserves a ribbed net vault, a Renaissance gallery and baptismal font, a late Gothic Mount of Olives sculptural group and fourteen 16th-century epitaphs. By prior arrangement, you can visit the square tower, which offers views of the historic part of the town and its surroundings.
