The second-largest monastery library in Bohemia and a 12th-century church are among the highlights of the Teplá monastery complex, which served the Premonstratensians for centuries until the end of World War II.

After years of devastation, it was returned to the administration of the Church in 1990, which opened it to visitors. The eastern wing comprises valuable Baroque convent and prelature buildings designed by the leading Baroque architect Kryštof Dientzenhofer, while the northern wing offers accommodation for the public by a park with a pond.
